Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data NoProb collects, why, and what rights you have. NoProb is operated from Ireland and complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Who we are
NoProb is operated by Conor Birchall in Ireland. For privacy questions or requests about your data, contact info@noprob.live.
What we collect
- Account data — your name, email, business name, phone, address, and VAT number. Used to run your account.
- Business data — customers, jobs, quotes, invoices, photos, job notes, work records, schedules, staff records, signatures, documents and expenses you add. Stored on your behalf.
- Financial and payment records — amounts, payment status and the bank account name, IBAN or Revolut details you choose to add for your own customers to pay you. Preparing an invoice or marking it paid is separate from making a payment.
- Usage and diagnostic data — basic logs such as IP address, browser, requests, errors and actions, used to keep the Service secure and debug problems. Infrastructure providers can derive an approximate city or region from an IP address. This is separate from GPS location tracking.
Product usage and your choices
We keep minimal records of successful actions such as creating a job, completing work or preparing an invoice to understand whether the service is useful. These records contain an event name, time and internal account identifiers. They do not copy customer details, amounts, notes, documents or photos.
With your permission, we also record the areas of NoProb you open, your device category and when you start a new session. This optional measurement uses a random session identifier in browser storage and starts only after you allow it. You can turn it off here at any time. It is not used for advertising or shared with an advertising platform.
Legal basis
We process account and business data to perform the contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We process security logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the Service safe (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your customers' data
When you add a customer to NoProb, you are the data controller for that customer and NoProb is your processor. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store their details (e.g., they hired you for a job). NoProb only uses this data to provide you with the Service.
Services that process data
Supabase provides authentication and database storage, and Vercel hosts the application. Sending a document by email uses Resend. Telephone, SMS and WhatsApp features may use Twilio where enabled. These services receive the information needed for the feature you use.
- AI assistance — depending on the feature and its configuration, text or images you submit are processed by Anthropic, OpenAI or Google Gemini. This can include fault descriptions, receipt images and screenshots submitted for extraction. AI output is returned to you and may be saved in the work record you create.
- Addresses and maps — address text used for lookup or mapping is sent to Google Places, with Photon used as a geocoding fallback. This is separate from tracking your device's location.
- Voice input — on supported browsers, speech-to-text uses the browser's speech service, which may process audio remotely. The resulting text is saved only as part of the record you choose to save. NoProb's native iOS voice input is currently unavailable.
- Sharing you request — when you send an invoice, quote, message or payment link, its recipient can receive the customer, business and payment information included in it.
Provider processing and retention depend on the service and feature. Do not include information that is unnecessary for the task. Contact us for details about a particular feature or a deletion request. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Account and business records remain available while your account is active, unless you delete them. In-app deletion of an owner account removes its business records and login from the active database. Deleting a staff login does not delete the employer's business records. Email deletion requests are handled within 30 days after identity verification. Copies already sent to recipients, provider logs and backups are separate from the active database; contact us about the data involved in your request. Export any records your business needs before deleting your account.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us at info@noprob.live. You can also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies
NoProb uses only strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session state. No tracking or advertising cookies are set. Optional usage measurement stores your choice and, only if you allow it, a random session identifier in browser storage.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app.
